We take behaviour and attitude very seriously at Cardiff Cricket Club. We will not tolerate any abusive behaviour.
Fortunately this rarely happens but we do ask all junior parents and players to complete and sign codes of conduct which they must abide by.
There are 3 documents - an overview, a parent's code of conduct and a player's code of conduct. Parents are required to go through the player's code of conduct with their child so that they understand the standard of behaviour that is expected of them.

Junior training gets underway in February and we are very pleased that first team captain Greg Holmes will be involved in all the junior coaching sessions. Players will be invited by Teamer and hopefully we will have sample kit for sizing purposes.
U9s training: Sundays starting Sunday February 4th, 5.30 to 6.30 in the Welsh Institute of Sport. (Selected U9s will be invited to train with U11s instead.) This will be soft ball training run by Greg Holmes and David Kirtley
We run 4 junior squads and take pride in seeing our youngsters' progress from playing softball cricket when they are 7 years old, through to playing for the Cardiff CC senior teams. With a host of dedicated and experienced coaches, youngsters are allowed to flourish and several of our current junior players play representative cricket for county and for Wales.
The emphasis is on enjoying cricket while at the same time instilling in our young players the respect and spirit of fair play that has been the cornerstone of generations of Cardiff CC players
Friday nights during the season are aimed at all juniors (except for the Under 15s who train with the senior teams on a Tuesday). Every age group trains at the ground from 6:00pm on a Friday, and if the weather is set fair, the barbeque is wheeled out and parents and friends can relax and have a beer, a glass of wine or a cup of tea.
We welcome help from parents and if you are able to dedicate time to coaching, we can arrange for you to complete your coaching courses.
